This week I had the opportunity to style some looks at my favorite local boutique, Mint L.A!  Fall is by far my favorite season for fashion, and when owner Rebekah Risbeck asked me to come in and put some Fall looks together, it took me all of 2 seconds to respond with an enthusiastic YES!!!

With new styles arriving each week from Los Angeles, I always find something that I love at Mint L.A.  The trends I’m loving this season: Floppy hats, off-the-shoulder tops and distressed denim.  These trends have major staying power, so you can be confident rocking them separately or together year after year and still look on point.
The entire collection will post today at 12pm CST on Mint L.A’s Facebook page.  You can shop directly form the page, and items sell out quickly, so be sure to snag your favorites right away!  You can also follow them on Instagram for daily style inspiration!
This burgundy off-the-shoulder top is perfect for Fall!  The rich tone pairs well with white skinnies and sandals for the remaining Summer days, or with dark denim and ankle boots as shown above for when the leaves start to change.  Pair it with a statement necklace and/or a wide brim floppy hat for a casual chic look!

A lightweight jacket in a neutral color is a MUST HAVE for Fall, especially here in the Midwest!  You could start a day out gorgeous and Sunny, and two hours later, temps could take a dramatic dip!  During this transition period, I always travel with an extra layer, and this asymmetrical zip jacket goes with everything!

I saved the best for last!  This beautiful black off-the-shoulder top was easily my favorite piece of the collection!  I’m a sucker for flowy knit tops (hello post-baby wardrobe) and this one is beautiful, flattering and best of all – affordable!  I had my eye on a similar style from Anthropologie, but I like the versatility of the solid black better and the material is not silky so no concerns about static.  This top will be perfect for date night, Farmer’s Market, concerts, football games.. really there are not many places I wouldn’t wear it!  And the hat and wedges complement the top giving it just a bit of a festival vibe to hang onto that Summer feeling.
I hope you enjoyed my looks for Fall with Mint L.A. Boutique!  Be sure to head over to their page and check out all of the other gorgeous new arrivals and complete your own perfect Fall look!

xoxo,
Capture
